Wooden Ships Comments on this Stones Pram Dinghy
Clinker pram dinghy built by Jim Stone of Portlemouth, Salcombe in the 1960’s.
An early example of using plywood with glued lands to create a rigid yet light weight boat without the need for steamed timbers. The glued lands mean she does not suffer from drying out and subsequent leaking which can be a big attraction.

Varnished inside and out, the boat is in lovely condition and complete with oars and rig.
A good stable load carrying dinghy, perfect for messing about on the water or as a tender to a larger yacht.
