De Elly Glasius is een passagiersschip met een rijke geschiedenis. Het schip werd in 1966 gebouwd voor rederij Koppe en diende aanvankelijk als veerboot tussen Amsterdam en Marken. In 1972 werd het vaartuig verkocht aan recreatiepark De Waarbeek in Hengelo, waar ze de naam "De Waarbeek" kreeg. In 2015 kreeg ze haar oorspronkelijke naam terug (Elly Glasius), en sindsdien is ze weer in de regio Amsterdam actief.
De Elly Glasius is a passenger ship with a rich history. Built in 1966 for the shipping company Koppe, it initially served as a ferry between Amsterdam and Marken. In 1972, the vessel was sold to recreation park De Waarbeek in Hengelo, where it was renamed "De Waarbeek". In 2015, it regained its original name (Elly Glasius) and has been active in the Amsterdam region since then.
