The Deb 33 designed by Sparkman & Stephens, built by Tylers of Tonbridge is a shoal draft sloop ideal for sailing in shallow waters. She is beamy at 10’4” but draws a modest 4’0” with the plate up, but this is nevertheless sufficient to permit her to be handled normally to windward – an important feature.Remarks :

The Deb 33 designed by Sparkman & Stephens, built by Tylers of Tonbridge is a shoal draft sloop ideal for sailing in shallow waters. She is beamy at 10’4” but draws a modest 4’0” with the plate up, but this is nevertheless sufficient to permit her to be handled normally to windward – an important feature. With the plate down drawing 7’0” this extra 22sq ft of keel gives her a sharp windward performance.
Accommodation :
Below the Deb 33 offers full standing headroom with six comfortable berths and a pilot berth. 7 berths in 2 cabins with 6’2” headroom. Forward V berth cabin with storage underneath berths. Saloon has 5 berths 1 pilot berth to port, saloon settee that converts to double berth, single berth to port and quarter berth. Storage space above and below berths. Heated throughout via an Eberspacher diesel heater. The forepeak also provides the space for the heads with marine toilet, washbasin. Hanging storage space is also provided in this forward area. Galley is to starboard with stainless steel sink, with pressurised cold freshwater supply, fridge, 2 burner Nelson cooker with oven and grill.

The Deb 33 is powered by a 2011 Beta 28hp 3-cylinder diesel engine, sea water cooled (last serviced by the owner 2021). Single lever Morse controls with electric start. Shaft drive to a 3 Maxprop folding propellor. Stainless steel 114 litre fuel tank. Last out of water maintenance spring 2020.
