We are pleased to present this 1987 DeFever POC at 47 feet! She has been a great cruising boat and is now ready for a new home. She features 3 staterooms, three heads, a large salon, a large rear enclosed cockpit and a huge flybridge. There is a crane to lower the AB inflatable dingy with a 9 horse power motor. She is powered by twin Caterpillar 3208TA 375 HP engines. Power on the hook is provided by an Onan 15kw generator.

Boarding on the port side deck, you will walk aft to the large enclosed cockpit area with a bar and refrigerator and a huge sitting area. There is also a washer/dryer combination that is cleverly hidden. Facing aft, there are sliding doors that open onto the aft deck that has a grill and access to the swim platform. To the right of the bar, there is a stair up to the very large flybridge. This area is great for entertaining and it is from here that you access the outer rear deck to lower the dinghy! Views from this area are 360 and fabulous. Head back down to the sun deck and then down another set of stairs into the large salon area. Here you will find a complete galley with lots of counter space and storage cabinets. To the starboard of the stairs, there are two refrigerator freezers and additional counter space. The L-shaped seating and dining area is on the port side and forward of the galley. Back on the port side, there is more seating and steps that lead down to the guest suite nestled in the bow. There is a head here as well and access to the engine room. Returning to the salon and headed aft, there are steps leading down to a bunk room and the Master Suite as well as two electric heads and a tub/shower arrangement.

The 47 offers the full beam master stateroom aft with ensuite head. There is a small third stateroom/office with two bunks. There is also a head across the hall from this room that shares the tub/shower configuration with the master suite. The main guest room is in the bow of the vessel and also has an ensuite head.

The very large salon offers L-shaped seating to port with a dining table, bench seating to starboard, and the galley is aft and to port. The soles are teak and holly. The wallpaper and cabinetry are in excellent condition. There is also an entertainment system here and a flat screen T.V. The main switch panel is located to the right of the computer desk! This is the place to entertain!

The galley is located in the port aft corner of the main salon and is open and fully equipped. The beautifully crafted cabinets provide a ton of storage. The galley is fully equipped and will satisfy the gourmet in your blood!

The full beam master stateroom is aft with an ensuite head, portlights, teak and holly soles, and a queen centerline berth. There is an emergency hatch to the sundeck located on the starboard side. There is a ton of closet space, bedside tables, and a dressing table.

The guest stateroom is forward in the bow and features an ensuite head, a double berth, portlights, and an overhead deck hatch for loads of natural light and ventilation. There are shelves next to the bed for books, etc., and a large hanging locker.

The third cabin is located next to the Master and features a bunk bed. This also doubles as an office with its desk and chair. The head is across the hall.

The 47' DeFever features a large, enclosed sundeck with a narrow open aft deck. There are steps up to the flybridge and a wet bar to port and forward. The wet bar has a sink and a refrigerator. This area could be furnished making it a great entertainment area.

The massive flybridge includes a Radar arch, isinglass enclosures, full helm forward with built-in helm seat, bench seats on the port and starboard. There are also large, bench seat/loungers on the port and starboard sides. There is a box freezer as well. Access to the sundeck roof and dinghy access are from this area.

We are pleased to present this 1987 DeFever 47 for your cruising consideration. The boat is roomy and spacious. The Master Suite is quite elegant and comfortable! The salon and galley area are bright and spacious as well. Overall, the boat is in good condition but needs some TLC to bring her back to her former glory. This would be a great cruising boat but also makes for an excellent live-aboard!
