Minerva is a Reichel Pugh 43 built by DK Yachts Malaysia, modified by Mark Mills to add a bulb keel optimised for IRC in 2005. She was originally named Pla Loma IV, raced in Asia and imported to Australia in 2003. The current owner purchased the yacht in 2010. A further 300kg weight was added to the bulb in 2014 under the supervision of Andy Dovell. The boat is competitive on IRC, with a current handicap of 1.152.

Interior Features

The interior is roomy and functional, with more than 1.90m headroom. It sleeps 8 while racing (4 each side) and 2 in the bow when not racing. It includes a separate galley (twin gas burners, sink, and cold box) and a navigation station. There is an enclosed head. The interior is well maintained and functional for racing or cruising. The floorboards are wood veneer over foam.

Deck Condition

The deck was repainted in 2018.
