2025 Two-Cabin Dufour 37

 

Our final remaining guaranteed Dufour 37 for 2025. Following the success of the Southampton Boat Show 2024, all factory order slots for the Dufour 37 were reserved. However, we now have the opportunity to bring an additional Dufour 37 to market, as a customer has decided that a Dufour 41 would be a better fit for their sailing plans.

 

This yacht comes in the highly sought-after two-cabin, one-head configuration, finished with the elegant light oak interior. Scheduled to leave the factory in early spring, she will be ready for handover by the Easter bank holiday, or possibly earlier.

 

If you plan to sail in the UK, the quoted price includes all delivery and commissioning costs. For those intending to sail in the Mediterranean or beyond, delivery directly to your destination can be arranged, allowing you to take advantage of VAT-free sailing. We would be happy to discuss your plans and provide tailored advice on the best approach for your needs.

 

Important Note: To ensure delivery directly to the Mediterranean, arrangements must be confirmed by 21st January 2025.

Introduction to the Dufour 37

 

The Dufour 37 marks the beginning of a new generation and direction for Dufour while still incorporating design principles and Dufour DNA refined over 60 years of boatbuilding. This model features a completely new hull design by Naval Architect Umberto Felci, focusing on maximising interior light, comfort, and space while delivering the exceptional sailing experience Dufour is known for.

 

A key part of the new hull design is a pronounced full-length hull chine, which greatly improves form stability, reducing reliance on the keel to keep the yacht sailing upright. This offers three significant benefits:

 

• Safer and More Comfortable Sailing: Maintaining a more upright position ensures a safer and more comfortable sailing experience, facilitating easy movement around the boat while underway.
• Maximised Performance: Less heel results in reduced water resistance on the hull, improving hydrodynamic efficiency and resulting in greater speed through the water. With the amount of heel minimised, the efficiency of sail is maximised, optimising wind usage and allowing for more effective trimming to enhance upwind performance.
• Increased Interior Space: The incorporation of the chine allows the designers to carry her beam further forward, providing a forward cabin volume unmatched by any other yacht of her size.
