Boatshed Norfolk are very pleased to be able to offer to the market this genuine Steel Dutch barge houseboat / live-aboard vessel. She is a real piece of nautical history as she is 100 years old this year having been made in 1923 in Holland.
The current owners bought her 4 years ago and sailed her across the North Sea back to Norfolk in a 16 hour trip. The 120HP 6 cyl Fiat Aifo diesel engine is clean and tidy.

Ownership History

The current owners purchased her 4 years ago and successfully sailed her across the North Sea back to Norfolk in a 16-hour trip.

Engine and Performance

• Engine: 120HP 6 cyl Fiat Aifo diesel engine
• Engine Condition: Clean and tidy, starts and runs well
• Fuel Consumption: Approximately 200 litres for the trip from Holland
• Fuel Tanks: 2 tanks with a total capacity of 800 litres

Living Space

This boat has served as a water-based home for 30 years prior to the current ownership. It is a fully operational barge that can be navigated anywhere it fits, providing a spacious and comfortable living environment. The owners are in the process of replacing all floor coverings with wood floors and carpets, making it ideal for the new owner.

Opposite the galley is an "L" shaped dining area with a solid wood table and ample space. The galley features large windows for fantastic views and double doors that open to a massive teak-decked cockpit, perfect for summer dining.

Moving forward from the galley, you step down to a large saloon. Seating is to starboard, and storage is to port, featuring a classic "Godin" art deco period stove. The stove requires a connection pipe (supplied) and an external chimney, which is also provided. The boat has full diesel-fired wet heating to radiators. New wooden floor coverings and carpets are being installed throughout.

Heads Compartment

The heads compartment has new lighting and features an electric Techma toilet plumbed to a holding tank. A bifold shower door maximizes space in this well-sized area.

Cabins

• Convertible Cabin: Good sized, converts from single/day cabin to double, includes sizeable storage space, awaiting a new mattress (included in sale)
• Master Cabin: Full headroom, bed under the foredeck with a pitched hatch for stargazing, full width of the vessel, large built-in storage
