When the builders found an old Creekmore 34 mold, cut it in half, and added 3 feet to create the Endeavour 37, the builders already had 3 years of building experience, having started the Endeavour Yacht Corp. in 1974. A total of 476 were sold, with the last boats coming off the line in 1983. The hull of the Endeavour 37 is molded as a single unit of a combination of polyester resin and fiberglass woven roving and multi-directional chopped strand fiber (MCSF). The keel is molded integrally with the hull and the lead ballast is contained inside. See more Endeavour 37 specs and history here: This boat is the Plan-A version. A very spacious layout, which has the dinette forward, Galley and Head amidship, and the Navigation station in front of the starboard double berth. For those looking to live aboard, the Aft cabin to port is private, which makes her very popular with families. This particular Endeavour has made numerous trips to the Bahamas. Her electronics package includes CPT Auto Pilot, Garmin 946 GPS/Chartplotter/depth sounder, Horizon Explorer 1700 VHF Radio w/remote at the helm, Navman wind indicator, and a West Marine AM/FM/CD/Sirius XM/Bluetooth stereo radio. There is a 160 W wind generator and a 160 W flexible solar panel. There are two Group 31 house batteries and one Group 27 starter battery. The sail inventory consists of the Main sail w/2 reef points and 5 battens and lazy jacks, a Garhauer rigid boom vang, a roller furling jib, a storm jib, and a 3" telescoping whisker pole. Her ground tackle includes a teak bow pulpit with twin anchor extension carrying a 44# Rocna and a 35# CQR. There is 130' of 5/6 B-4 chain and soo'5/8 rode. There is a Simpson-Lawrence Seatiger manual windlass. Aft there is a Marty Davit system carrying a 2000 Achilles hardbottom RIB that is included in the sale. There is also a 2019 4HP Suzuki outboard. Also mounted aft is a drag anchor and rode. When not under sail, the boat is powered by a PerkinsHP diesel with less than 50 hours on it since a complete overhaul/rebuild in 2021. There are dual fuel/water separators and it also has a flexible shaft coupling and a mechanical dripless shaft seal. Other recent improvements include a fresh bottom job this year with Seaguard Ablative Anti-Foulant coating, a new 1V/20 amp Pro charger, a new pressure water pump, and a new Macerator pump. One last cool feature of this Endeavour is that the binnacle has been moved forward in the cockpit allowing the helmsman easy access to the primary winches on both the port and starboard sides.
