Accommodation

The accommodation offers four berths in two sleeping cabins with good headroom. Up forward in the saloon, you have a large wrap-around seating area with a central table that converts to a generous double berth with stowage beneath seating and eye level lockers. Ventilation and natural light are provided by an opening hatch to the foredeck and two opening portlights. The galley is in the starboard quarter and is equipped with:

There is a pressurized hot and cold freshwater system via a calorifier with shore power immersion coil. Eberspacher diesel heating. Blue upholstery with complementing curtains and cream carpets. CD/radio stereo system with Bluetooth, USB, and auxiliary. Out in the cockpit, the helm position is to starboard with an adjustable seat, L-shaped seating area opposite to port, and a large U-shaped seating area aft with a cockpit table and infill cushion to form a sunpad. Full cockpit canopy with zipped door and forward section converting to bimini top. High-quality leatherette cockpit upholstery. Teak effect cockpit sole with large gas-ram assisted access to the engine compartment. Walk-thru transom to teak effect bathing platform with hot and cold shower and concealed swim ladder.

Mechanical Systems

Located beneath the cockpit sole are the twin Volvo Penta KAD32-P 170hp turbo and supercharged 4-cylinder diesel engines. Freshwater cooled via heat exchangers. Dual single lever Volvo Penta throttle controls with electric start. New cables in 2023. Power hydraulic wheel steering. Aluminium 418L fuel tank. Twin Volvo Penta DuoProp outdrives with power trim and tilt with DuoProp propellers (new 2023). Full engine instrumentation. Hydraulic trim tabs. Bowthruster fitted 2022. Annually serviced.

Construction

Fairline Targa 29 built by Fairline Boats Ltd. in 1997 for the 1998 model year (first commissioned in 1999) to a Bernard Olesinski and Fairline design. White GRP planing hull, superstructure, radar arch, and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Integrated GRP bathing platform with walk-thru transom. Teak effect cockpit sole and bathing platform. Hull was copper coated in 2024 by local yard.
