COMMENTS:
Owners comments:
The boat has been across the South Atlantic and was sailed up from Cape Town where she was built. Since then she has been sailed extensively around the Mediterranean, primarily in the Aegean. Although for a boat of this age there are things that can be improved and or replaced she can be started up from day one and sailed away for many happy days of cruising.
Due to the large deck area the boat is very easy to sail single handed, I do 95% of my sailing single handed. The large deck area also adds to general safety, no trip hazards and easy to move around. The ease of movement whist sailing plus the more pleasant motion of a catamaran also leads to less fatigue whist sailing which in turn makes it a safer place to be in. The shallow draft makes finding a good anchorage easier and the fact that cats have no ballast makes the hulls almost unsinkable should you run aground whist searching for that shallow anchorage…
This is a very spacious catamaran, it has the equivalent interior space of a 55 ft mono hull.
Brokers comments:
Second owner from new. Spacious and easy to handle.
