The designer won both the Round the Island race and the JOG single handed race in 1968 in a Galion 22. This Galion 22, Picolo, has been extensively refurbished and is ready to go. With her long keel and fractional rig she is seaworthy and fast. The present owner is offering her for sale due to ill health. Picolo is a sailing boat with a fractional rig and all lines leading aft. She is tiller steered. She comes with a Dolphin petrol engine, inboard, with an additional outboard engine as backup or for wriggling out of tight corners. She packs a lot of accommodation into her small size.
