Polar Bear is a classic 1971 wooden carvel construction day boat built by George Wilson & Sons Ltd Sunbury-on-Thames. She is powered by a 4 cylinder 1.5 litre BMC diesel inboard engine with a shaft drive. She has an open cockpit with a sliding wooden canopy either covering the helm position or sliding back to cover the stern seating positions. She has been beautifully maintained and lifted from the water every winter. Last year the owner purchased a high quality all over canvas cover to protect the woodwork. This is a delightful boat sure to turn heads where ever you go.
