From her gel coat exterior to her handcrafted interior the Grand Banks 58 takes on-board comfort to a new level. Drawing from the three decade heritage of the Grand Banks line, she offers new dimensions of practical luxury in a yacht designed for cruising. The GB58 shares the same full keel semi-displacement hull design found on all Grand Banks.
This proven hull, with a deep forefoot and hard chines aft, offers excellent stability and sea handling characteristics, while also providing underwater protection for the shafts, propellers, and rudders. A further benefit of this hull design is the amount of usable space for accommodations below the main deck level.
The main saloon provides well planned space for those planning to live aboard for extended periods. The galley is fully equipped and all appliances replaced in 2016 (i.e. vitroceramic hob, dishwasher etc.) Storage is abundant and countertops provide durable, practical, and elegant work surfaces.
Stepping forward into the pilothouse confirms the GB58's heritage. Visibility from the adjustable helm seat is excellent with instruments, controls, and electronics all within easy reach.
Providing easy access to the flybridge from the pilothouse is a fully enclosed staircase. The extended bridge offers more than enough space for guests, cruising gear, and dinghies.
Numerous grab rails, hand rails, and stainless steel safety rails make moving about the interior and exterior of the 58 quick and easy. Her wide side decks and flush deck layout help make line handling easy for those aboard.
