Short History

The yacht was built in Italy via the Dutch dealer Messink Yachts to racing specification. She came out about 300kg lighter than the normal racing version. At that time the boat had a carbon mast. She was very successful and won multiple races and National championships. The second owner used the boat mainly for long offshore cruising, until the boat got damaged and lost her mast in the Caribbean (2014). A family member and present owner of the second owner took ownership of the boat and refitted the hull, placed a new aluminium mast and sails. Hereafter she was used for racing and cruising again. The boat sailed her last race in 2019, which was a double handed Fastnet race.

Construction and Mechanicals

• Construction: All GRP with Cherry wood interior joinery. Racing keel with a balance rudder.
• Mechanicals: Yanmar 3JH3E diesel engine, 40hp/29Kw, 2002. Cooling via heat exchanger Saildrive with folding race propellor. Speed under engine average 7 knots, max speed 12 knots.
• Tankage: Fuel TBA. Water capacity of 160 litres in 2 80 litre flexible tanks.
