SummaryFINAL FLING is a 1984 H-Boat International for sale in Tighnabruaich, Argyll Country, United Kingdom. This 8.3m vessel has been lovingly maintained since 2001 and is seldom found for sale. Constructed with a Single Piece GRP moulded hull, this boat has been finished with a white gelcoat topsides and a blue antifouling underwater hull. She is powered by a dependable 4hp Mariner 4-stroke Outboard with a manual pull and tilt start. Her interior comprises of a Two Single V-Berths Forward, a Large Central Locker and Dresser Units aft of the Forepeak Bunks. The Deck is finished with a single bow roller forward, centrally mounted mooring cleat, side decks outboard of coachroof to port and starboard and a central forward opening deck hatch. This boat is also equipped with a genoa track, car, mainsheet, and winches. In addition, she has a Folding Garpling Hook type Bower Anchor, Fenders, Mooring Lines and a Horseshoe buoy. A double axle yard trailer could also be overhauled to become road legal again. This is a great opportunity to own an International H-Boat and she is a must-see for any interested buyer.
The International H-Boat was the first GRP moulded yacht to gain one-design class status back in 1968. The designer Hans Groop was commissioned by the Segelsällskrab Yacht Club to update the wooden Folkboat concept for mass GRP production and the H-Boat was born. By 1970 the boat was in production under license across Europe with builders. To date in excess of 5000 boats have been launched with one-design classes to be found racing across the globe.
FINAL FLING is a much loved example of the class. With her current owner since 2001 she has been used for local club racing predominately. Lying ashore in Tighnabruaich she is available for viewing by prior appointment.
