DESCRIPTION

The Hardy Family Pilot 20 is Hardy by name and hardy by nature. A competent sea boat for coastal cruising and ample accommodation for weekends away.

A large cockpit with a galley can be covered when the weather is poor and a separate main cabin with a double and single berth and and a separate heads compartment.

"Pennyghael" is one of the nicest I have seen.

Hull, deck & superstructure

  • Blue GRP hull with traditional Hardy rope fender.
  • White GRP superstructure and deck. Deck with textured non-slip.
  • Open backed wheelhouse with wooden mast and sun roof.
  • The deck is secured with a stainless steel wrap round pulpit with stanchion posts atop the raised bulwark, running a single guard wire back to the cockpit.
  • There are grab rails on the wheelhouse roof and entrance to the cockpit.

Engine

  • 75hp Honda 4-stroke outboard engine set into a engine bay.
  • Running hours unknown.
  • 3 blade aluminium prop.
  • Morse engine controls with trim and tilt.
  • 2 x 25L external fuel tanks. These have a dedicated storage area under the engine well.
