"Duchess" has ventured and seen more water than most will see in their lifetime. She has served her role as a well known charter boat out of Walkers Cay Bahamas for nearly 35 years. Duchess has endured many upgrades and refits in her lifetime most notably in 2015 and again in 2018. Her interior is a true classic and a MUST SEE, the layout is a 3 stateroom 2 head configuration and lined in high gloss teak afromosia. The entire interior was refit including headliners, cabinetry, lighting, appliances and a new sole in 2015. She is powered by a pair of Cummins 903 engines and a Northern Lights generator serves her electrical needs. Nearly every system and component of Duchess has been updated or upgraded. As the years have gone by Duchess has safely served and created memories for thousands of families and guest and has been featured on many fishing shows and fished many tournaments. The time has come that she finds a new home to continue her legacy and bring new memories to her next family. Just one more added bonus Duchess is duty paid in the Bahamas as well for anyone looking to relocate her back to the Bahamas. She is easy to see and can be shown by appointment only.
2015 Refit
In 2015 Duchess went through an extensive refit process to bring her up to today's standards. Everything from a full paint job to a complete interior refit was accomplished. The biggest improvement was a full re-power with a set of overhauled Cummins 903 engines and a new Northern Lights 20KW generator, In addition to her mechanical upgrades all of the soft goods on the interior and exterior were replaced including a new (5) panel enclosure. In 2018 there was a short on the engine starter that resulted in a full engine room re-wire and paint job. Additional upgrades were made at that time as well to include but not limited to:
2023 Upgrades
The master stateroom is located to the port side of the companionway. Considered the largest in its class for a production built boat at the time. Highlights include an ensuite head and shower, a large queen size berth and plenty of storage to include a large hanging closet.

The forward guest stateroom is located at the end of the companionway with access to the ensuite laundry area. To port are two over/under single berths, moving forward is the access to the forward anchor locker and windlass. On the starboard side is lined with solid teak cabinetry and storage as well as the access to the ensuite laundry facility and additional storage.
Located to starboard in the forward stateroom is the laundry facility that was completely refit in 2015 with new washer and dryer as well as sink.
Located to starboard as you enter the companionway from the salon is the starboard guest stateroom. Large over/under single berths and a hanging closet provide adequate space for extra guest to stay. In addition there is a separate ensuite access to the guest/day head and a built end night stand with additional storage, Lighting has been upgraded to LED and there is also back DC lighting as well.
The cockpit of Duchess is where "Memories are made"! Her most iconic feature is her original gin pole located on the port side near her aft steering station. In the center of the cockpit is a large Rybovich fighting chair and rocket launcher (An additional teak ladder back is also included with the chair). Moving to starboard is the custom built in refrigerated drink box and freezer. Access to the flybridge is center line and cockpit has been refinished with an AWLGRIP non-skid sole.
