Announcing:
The Morrelli & Melvin designed HH77-88 Carbon Performance Cruising Catamaran
Setting the bar on Luxury and Performance
Morrelli & Melvin, the design group that brought you the original Gunboat catamarans, and the HH catamaran series, announces the release of the latest 77-88 foot models of the HH family of luxury carbon performance cruising catamarans.
HH77 Custom Carbon Catamaran
Building on the success of the HH50, OC50, HH55 and HH66 models – winners of multiple Boat of the Year awards – and responding to the subsequent demand for “bigger/better/faster” - Morrelli & Melvin and HH Catamarans are taking it to the next level, announcing the availability of a new series of larger, upscale, blue water carbon sailing catamarans. Ranging 77ft to 88ft in length, these are bespoke, custom megayacht-style sailing catamarans, with look, layout and sailing characteristics designed entirely to order - reflecting each owner’s unique requirements, and preferences.
Pedigree
Design - Morrelli & Melvin
Designed by Morrelli & Melvin - the HH 77- 88 series incorporates the experience of Morrelli and Melvin's 30 years of catamaran designs - blending lessons gained from three America's Cup campaigns, multiple cross ocean sailing records - and over 50 custom carbon catamarans from 46ft to 125ft, for discerning owners around the globe.
Build - HH Catamarans
As builders - HH Catamarans is dedicated to building the highest quality, most technically advanced, luxury carbon cruising catamarans in the world. With Boat of the Year awards for each of its current catamaran models (HH50, OC50, HH55, and HH66) industry experts agree.
Production is centered at HH Catamaran’s impressive, 27 acre factory in Xiamen China, supported by the solid financial backing of the Hudson Yacht Group parent company. Design, marketing, support and administrative services are delivered from U.S. offices in California, and South Carolina .
An international team of expert builders brings the best equipment, materials and techniques to this next generation performance luxury carbon cruising catamaran line. Utilizing state-of-the-art, lightweight all carbon construction allows HH to deliver an unusually light and robust platform. One which can easily withstand the most challenging environments encountered in blue water sailing. High tech, aircraft type techniques are used in interior appointments and furniture - producing light, strong and elegant interiors, setting the bar for a yacht of this category.
This results in a light and strong “race boat in disguise”! A boat whose owners can enjoy all of the comforts of home - making time spent aboard luxurious, safe and fun.
So, whether your plans call for seasonal sailing, a Round the World cruise, or the occasional fun regatta, the HH77 - 88 series will deliver for you in speed, comfort and style.
Collaboration
Naval Architecture - Morrelli & Melvin
Reflecting over 30 years of design experience, producing world-renown ocean cruising and racing designs, Morrelli & Melvin brings proven, state of the art design concepts to the HH 77-88. Features such as wave-piercing reverse bows, “C” style daggerboards, and high bridgedeck clearance prevent pounding, and reduce pitching motion - ensuring comfortable, fast and safe sailing.
Exterior Design
Whether you have a preference for a certain exterior look, or style. Flybridge - or not, contemporary - or classic, Morrelli & Melvin, and HH Catamarans are happy to work with you, and an exterior stylist of your choice, to craft a look that will meet your preference.
Interior Design
Master cabin up - or down? Galley up – or down? A formal, informal or sporty environment? Accommodating a multi-generational family - or anticipating formal entertaining? Owners can avail themselves of MM and HH’s design team - or they can engage their own interior designers - to develop an interior that will reflect their unique requirements, preferences and style.
Project Assistance
Morrelli & Melvin
Whether you have years of sailing experience - or are a complete novice – Morrelli & Melvin will be there to assist you - bringing to the table the experience gained over many years and thousands of miles of multihull design and sailing. Helping to design and build your dream - and assisting you with the full process.
