JOURNEY, the 2021 Horizon E81 has entered the market for the first time and shows in new condition.
Commissioned by an experienced owner JOURNEY has a long list of custom features that set her apart from other yachts offered in the same segment of the market. She has been professional maintained by a full time captain since new, has the balance of 5 year transferable extended engine warranties, and has just completed her 1,000hr engine service & all maintenance is current assuring the next owner that the yacht is truly turn key.

A hydraulic swim platform currently holds an AB tender (included in the deal) and the upper deck has an additional davit in case the new owner wants to carry a second tender or 2 full size jet skis.

Stepping onboard JOURNEY and you immediately notice the large volume and get a feeling of being on a much larger yacht. That starts with the headroom on the aft deck, and actually found on every deck both on the interior, lower guest areas on upper sundeck with the hard top.
The aft deck is a focal point onboard and has direct access to the aft deck to port & starboard as well as full walk arounds that lead to the bow & finally a double wide staircase that leads up to the sundeck. Love the space with the center line table, built in settee located back aft and a proper bar area with custom granite counter tops, sink, ice maker, refrigerator and fold down TV. The sliding door can be opened all the way and slides nicely away behind the bar combining interior & exterior spaces into one. Another nice feature to point out is that the line storage and aft cleats & windlasses are hidden below enclosures which is not just safer but aesthetically pleasing.
Continuing to the bow area to either port or starboard you arrive at a full lounge area complete with built in seating, lounge pads. A great space to enjoy when underway or tide to the dock in a marina.
Heading up to the sundeck you arrive to the port side and will notice that the davit tucks off to the side railings when not in use which frees up the boat deck area (non skid for easy maintenance) to be converted into a party deck great for entertaining. To starboard is a built in entertaining area complete with grill and kitchen. Moving further forward under the hard top you have teak decks, full service bar with 4 bar stools, raised bar, and those same custom counters found on the aft deck match on all exterior spaces. Opposite the bar is a U-shaped settee that will definitely be your most popular dining area onboard in my opinion and is a great place to watch TV which folds down from the overhead.
Your upper helm has 2 captains chairs and I love that it has a fixed glass windshield. The remainder of the entire upper area under the hard top can be fully enclosed with removable Strataglass partitions. There is also a forward hatch that leads down to the main salon/galley area located just to port of the upper helm but nicely separated. A very thoughtful layout with that valuable input from the experienced owner.
Stepping into the salon and you immediately get a welcome feeling with soft woods, natural earth tones, great lighting and an open salon that flows from bow to stern. You can literally see the bow through the forward facing windows.
The aft section of the salon features a large L-shaped settee that is opposite of the pop up TV and then just inside the sliding door is the day head which is fantastic & super convenient.
Moving forward you enter the galley area that has a partition that lowers & raises to give separation of spaces if needed. You have a massive amount of counter space as well as upper storage with built in accent lighting - another way this owner was able to utilize every space possible for valuable storage. To port you have the stairs that lead to the upper sundeck and underneath is a wine cooler and small pantry.
All the way forward you have a built in U shaped settee great for breakfast or an easy meal or to get some work done. Both to port & starboard you have doors that give you direct access to the exterior & bow areas. To port you have stairs that lead down to the guest area.
The guest area is a rather traditional space: full beam master cabin located back aft, two smaller cabins and VIP all the way forward to the bow. The master has a lovely ensuite as does the VIP while the two smaller cabins share a bathroom. There is also a full size washer & dryer located in the guest area (as well as a second full size washer & dryer located back aft in the crew area).
Crew is primarily accessed via a centerline watertight door on the transom (but there is also a hatch on the aft deck for when underway or in bad weather). Crew area has a cabin located to port with 2 single berths, spacious bath located opposite the cabin along with the mess area & added storage and counter spaces.
Engine room is forward through a watertight door and is very well laid out with easy access to all major machinery, work area and excellent lighting, etc - really nicely done for maintenance.
The 1,000 hour service was completed in March 2024. Extended engine warranties are in place and are confirmed to be transferable. She will be sold with full maintenance records, all machinery services up to date, and turn key. Current captain is very knowledgeable and can assist with a proper handover.
