I am reluctantly selling my Bounty 37 cruiser after we gave her a massive £24K refurb.
Houseboat On London Mooring For Sale. £26,950.00 Sensible offers will be considered. REDUCED BY £5000.00 To Sell. I am reluctantly selling my Bounty 37 cruiser after we gave her a massive £24K refurb. The boat is situated on a mooring on Deptford Creek where she can stay. It is a working yard with other boat dwellers . The yard is on Creekside and is approximately 10 minutes from Deptford train station and 15 minutes from Greenwich train station. The yard is a one of a kind community with a mix of artists, musicians and tradespersons. The local area if full of up and coming bars and markets. Flabbergasted is 37 Feet long and 12 Feet wide so a really nice living space. The whole floor and 80% of the under floor beams have been professionally replaced and she has had new bulkheads, a new shower room built and much much more. The inside of the bilge area and hull have also been cleaned and inspected. The work was carried out by CCS Marine (Brian Middleton) The boat was lifted out at Southdock Marina and had full inspection, hull repairs, strengthening and refurbishment and was fully pained underneath before it came down to the mooring in 2008. Then in 2018 it had ta major refurbishment that took 2 years to complete. We spent thousands refurbishing the boat and modernising the whole of the inside. She does really badly need a paint job (the outside photo is a few years old now) and some deck work but nothing too major, just scratches, gouges and some sealing in a few small areas. The boat has a 32A electricity feed from a dedicated meter in the yard. There is also water supplied with the mooring. This mooring is on the end of a line of boats and boasts the most gorgeous view of the Creek. We have been moored here since 2008 but now due to work commitments we are having to move out of London. This is an opportunity not to be missed, if you have been looking for a residential type mooring then you know that this is a little gem! The interior details are as follows: Separate end bedroom with doors out onto the front deck area (with beautiful view of the Creek) With a fixed double bed, wardrobe, small chest of drawers and large sliding roof hatch. Separate toilet/shower room with Triton showercubicle and a full size Saniflow easy access 12v macerator button flush toilet. Spacious kitchen with lots of storage. Hotpoint oven, 2 ring induction hob, fridge freezer, 1.5 kitchen sink, built in wine rack. Dining room area with modern solid wood leaf table inc small drawers, washing machine. There is plenty of space to fit a wood burner. The roof still has the chimney cowl/fitting hole ready for a new wood burner. Please see last picture. Small lounge area with seating area that can turn into a spare bed and a large drawer unit. The deck area has a gas bottle locker big enough for 2 gas bottles but there is no gas set up on the boat currently. There are 2 solar panels on the roof and a controller inside the boat but this is also not set up at the moment. There is a 140AH deep cycle leisure battery and smart charger, the battery has 2 years guarantee. Underfloor there are 2 Rule bilge pumps (12V) and also a larger 240V back up dirty water pump. There is an onboard stainless steel water tank and the water system runs on 12 volt (batteries and charger located under the seating area) The hot water runs from an immersion heater (also under the seating area) which is also a calorifier. The boat has 240v electrical system set up from a 32A 5 way consumer unit running the macerator, kitchen, pumps, lights and sockets (with USB’s) The engine is a BMC 1.5 Diesel. (Comes with the manual) but unfortunately we have been unable to get her running as she has locked up from standing. This could be a great little project for someone mechanically minded. She last ran a couple of years ago. The oil in her is very good. There is no need to use the engine for any of the functions on the boat. As the Creek is tidal, the hot water system is run from 240v. And the batteries charge from the 240v system also. The solar panel system can be set up also. For someone mechanically minded there is a good possibility that if the injectors came out and she was soaked over a few days, the engine would spin over again. There are lots of receipts and paperwork for appliances, batteries etc. The mooring fee is £400 per month, payable monthly. Water is included in the mooring fee. Electricity is metered separately, also payable monthly (Unit price 0.26p) Please contact me for more information or to arrange a viewing. I am currently compiling a second list of viewers. 07940393631 Cash price REDUCED BY £5K TO £26,950.00 Or VNOThe Company offers the details of this vessel in good faith but cannot guarantee or warrant the accuracy of this information nor warrant the condition of the vessel.
