The Hunter 27-3, designed by Glenn Henderson, is not a revision of the previous Hunter 27 models. The 27-3 is a modern hull design and a joy to sail. Although the 27-3 is daysailor and family cruiser and not a racing boat, the Performance Handicap Rating System (PHRF) indicates a 40 second per mile speed advantage over the original Hunter 27 design.

This is a rare example of the Hunter 27, kept in top condition and upgraded with convenient features that make you want to sail the boat often. Capra has been kept in low salinity water by her previous 2 owners in Lake Pontchartrain, Louisiana.
