Mechanical & Electrical Systems

Located in well at the aft end of the cockpit. Year 2023, Mariner 6hp outboard motor, long shaft with saildrive prop. Hand start. Remote plastic fuel tank of some 10 litres. Last serviced Spring 2024 and has logged only some 20 hours from new. Single 12V battery charging via solar panel with Steca control unit.

Construction:

Built by Hunter Boats, Essex in 1982. Mustard coloured grp hull with rubbing strakes. White grp coachroof with non skid decks. Self draining anchor well and cockpit. Lift keel with Gibb self tailing winch by companionway. Tiller steering to transom hung lifting rudder. Tiler extension. Stainless steel safety rails. Redshank has been in her present ownership since 2019 and has had a programme of improvements since.

Accommodation

Spacious interior for up to three persons. V berth forward with infill to make a double. Quarter berth aft. Separate heads compartment with Jabsco marine toilet and small basin. There is plenty of storage throughout. Cabin lighting. Origo 300 two burner spirit stove. Various crockery and cutlery.
