In 1998, Mario Verschuur, together with his father Henk Verschuur, started buying and refurbishing some old motorbikes. This was done in a small shed in Benthuizen. Buying and selling was Mario's passion. And refurbishing was totally Henk's thing. This hobby soon got out of hand. Trading went well. And besides motorbikes, boats suddenly appeared. They wanted to continue with this. And preferably also with new boats and engines. And so Verschuur Watersport was born.
