Built in 1994, J Fever is a well maintained and successful example of this J Boats great. In the same ownership since 1998, she has enjoyed many successes in the JOG race calendar including Class 1 overall winners in the JOG offshore series 2021 and 2022. As well as regular cruising. Easily changed between race and cruise mode, with the addition of an easy to install headsail furler, sprayhood and lazyjacks. Her generous sail wardrobe includes a 2018 cruising mainsail as well as 2018 Code 2, Jib top, staysail and 2022 One Sails A4 Spinnaker. Various safety kit is also included in the inventory, with a 2020 8 man UltraLite liferaft, lifesling, throwing line and horseshoe with Danbuoy.
During the course of her yearly maintenance when wintered ashore, the engine has been professionally winterised and serviced annually, the hull sanded and antifouled. The standing rigging was also replaced in 2019. With various custom additions, she is comfortable, fun and fast to sail both in race and cruise mode!
