Balanced deep, composite rudder using uni and multi-directional glass on high resistance stainless steel stock turning on low friction, self-aligning rudder bearings.

Dual wheel pedestals each equipped with a stainless wheel with leather grip – to provide optimum steering ergonomics.

Integrated footrests for the driver.

High performance cable/quadrant steering system for fingertip response and control.

Propulsion

Volvo 50CV with two blade folding propeller Saildrive inboard diesel engine, exchanger cooling, 115 AH alternator.

Engine control panel at starboard helm station, including rev counter, hour meter and oil pressure, battery and temperature indicators.

40 Gallon Fuel tank.

Insulated engine compartment with ventilation ducting to the transom.

Spars & Rigging

Tapered, fractional carbon fiber mast with two sets of aft swept spreaders, tack reef hardware, boom and boom vang gooseneck fittings, masthead crane with backstay termination, internal side shroud terminations, headstay attachment hardware, halyard sheaves and a watertight dam installed inside the mast tube with a drain hole located just above deck level. Pre-molded mast wedge system, and adjustable mast step. Finished in Alwgrip black.

The forward cabin is enlarged by removing the semi bulkhead (with door) and retaining the private access to the forward head, and main bulkhead door.

The starboard aft cabin is replaced by a second head similarly equipped as the forward head (sink, shower and toilet), and a large sail locker with access through the head.

The aft sail locker is also accessed from the starboard cockpit locker.
