This 1959 James Taylor Cabin Cruiser has been lying idle for the last five years or so, the paint is pealing from her Mahogany planked hull and it is fair to say the superstructer around the wheelhouse requires replacing. However if you look past the flaky paint the lines of this ship are fantastic, the quality of workmanship is obvious. Inside the first inpresion is of space the wheelhouse has 360 degree vision the helm is well setup with all the instuments you need to steer and controll the twin Perkins 80 hp marine engines. To the rear of the wheelhouse there are steps down to the master bedroom double berth and storage. Going foward from the wheelhouse are steps down to the main cabin when you enter the main cabin you can see and feel the quality of the boat, the head with sea toilet washand basin and fold away shower, a very well equiped galley to include microwave oven with grill and two burner hob sink and plenty of storage table seating for four there is plent of natural light from the windows. This project when finished will make an ideal live-aboard coastal cruiser.
