The Volvo engines (twin 270hp) are much sought after as the smaller Volvo’s come with a weight restriction on the boat in terms of how many options can be fitted and the engines themselves have to work significantly harder when cruising. In the past 12 months we have also seen a number of boats being fitted with alternatives due to Volvo Penta being in high demand and facing supply chain issues which is still ongoing and our boat order was delayed in order for us to achieve the preferred engine.
