Accommodations

Comet features a comfortable two cabin/ one head layout. Forward and aft cabins feature double berths with hanging lockers. Forward cabin has a sink to starboard with storage above and a large hanging locker to port. The spacious forward berth features a lee cloth to keep your crew and gear in place while underway. The main salon features a large table with seating around for 4. This table also drops down and converts the starboard seating to another berth where two could sleep comfortably. A large settee to port has ample space for three.

The head has a separate shower stall/toilet. A large storage locker is accessible from the shower. The L shaped galley has generous counterspace, double sink with covers, easy to access refrigeration and a two-burner stove with oven. Lighting and ventilation are excellent, while the elegant teak interior exudes a feeling of luxury.

A dedicated navigation station with seat is to port with space for charts, documents, and has access to all electrical controls, stereo, and VHF. The aft cabin is to starboard and has a massive berth (new mattress 2020) that is at least equal to that of a queen size bed if not larger. A large hanging locker is to starboard.

Cockpit

The cockpit features a center console helm with all instruments and engine control easily accessible. The gorgeous fold out teak table is spacious and elegant. A unique feature of the 36.2 is the fold down helm seat with easy access to the swim platform and doubles as a stool for extra height when standing at the helm!

Voraciously large locker to port houses both the propane locker and batteries but has room for tons of gear, sails, and provisions. A smaller but still large locker to starboard makes for easy stowage of lines and gear.
