The Challenger 38 designed by John G. Alden the hull molded by Halmatic and completed in Denmark. This blue water yacht is a masthead yawl designed that stands out for its heavy construction, steady handling capabilities and excellent righting capabilities. Spring Tides is well suited for long journeys and beyond. She underwent a complete restoration in 2003 that included superstructure-cabin / cockpit along with the rigging and fuel tanks replaced.
