Overview

AUDREY II is one of the last and most beautifully outfitted (thanks to her custom John Munford interior) Jongert Tradition Series produced. Built and classed to Lloyds 100 A1 specifications, a designation she held until 2007, she’s strong, safe, and timelessly elegant in her classic style. The furling ketch rig designed with both interior and exterior helm stations and captive winches blends sailing ease, performance, range, and comfort in a truly beautiful and capable sailing yacht. Previous names in correct order are ERICA XI, CARA MARIA, and finally AUDREY II. Benefiting from first-rate custodianship, those inspecting her will find this yacht in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition with a fresh sail inventory and updated systems, basically wanting for nothing but a new owner’s personal touches.

Accommodations

AUDREY II sleeps 8/10 guests in 4 cabins with additional accommodation for 4 crew in 2 cabins. Custom designed by John Munford, the “floated” American cherry raised panel interior flows throughout the entire yacht including the crew quarters ensuring a very quiet and warm experience. High-end Edelmessing hardware, bath, and light fixtures are found throughout the yacht. Various mood lighting is also present throughout the yacht. All hanging lockers are cedar lined. Berths all have the slatted-board ventilation systems under the mattresses. Both owner and guest staterooms feature marble countertops and heated towel bars in the baths. Crew countertops are Corian; and galley countertops are granite. Copious amounts of storage is found underneath the bilges and is racked and labeled. Overhead hatches all have built-in mosquito screens and black out shades and feature stainless security bars. Portholes are attached to an internal scuppering system which avoids cosmetic damage in case a port is left open. All portholes have security bars as well.

Pilothouse

A large table to port with U-shaped settee allows for comfortable dining for 8 – 10 people. Two stools can be inserted into fittings on the inboard side to surround the table with diners. A cabinet in the base of the table stores an icemaker. To starboard is the temperature-controlled wine cellar, a fridge, and general bar storage. Forward is the interior helm station, which runs full width and has a full suite of navigation equipment as well as push-button and joystick sail-handling controls. There are two sets of stairs: aft goes directly to the landing for the day head, master stateroom and smaller fourth stateroom and the other, forward, leads to the lower salon.

Salon

To port is a lovely inlaid dining table surrounded by a settee and chairs which provide ample seating for 8. Cabinets in this area also store cutlery, china, and bar items. To starboard is a lounge area with coffee table, settee, desk, and cabinets which hold general office equipment, communication electronics and a cleverly hidden TV.

Galley

Located forward of the salon and hidden behind a sensor controlled automatic door. To port is the crew dinette with seating for 4 along with a stacked washer and dryer. A door to the engine room is on the aft bulkhead, and to starboard is the galley with its numerous appliances and granite countertops.

• Sharp Steamwave oven/microwave/steamer

• Toaster

• Coffee maker

• Miele oven

• Miele induction cooktop

• Miele dishwasher

• Miele clothes washer and dryer

• Custom 600-liter front loading refrigerator (new compressor 2019)

• Custom 150-liter front loading freezer (new compressor 2021)

• Custom 450-liter freezer under galley floor (new compressor 2021)

Owner Stateroom

Located aft and full width, the door opens to a wall which shields the bed from direct sight. A step to the left reveals a lovely cabin with a centerline king sized bed flanked by large nightstands. Four full-length closets, along with drawers and cupboards surround the cabin in beautiful cabinetry. Behind the bed, when the curtains are open, a large “galleon style” window affords beautiful views astern and floods the room with light. The ensuite head offers two sinks with marble counters, toilet, and full-sized stall shower.

Guest Twin Staterooms

Accessed from the central corridor which leads between the Salon and Master Stateroom are two Guest Staterooms, one port and one starboard. Each have oversized twin beds with a bureau between, full-length hanging locker, drawers beneath the bed and copious amounts of storage. Both also feature ensuite bathrooms with sink, marble counters, toilet, and stall shower.

Bunk Stateroom

Continuing aft, up a few stairs just before the master stateroom is a lovely little private bunk stateroom to starboard. It can be set up as a single berth or as two bunks when an upper bunk, concealed as paneling, slides up and slots into position. A hanging locker and drawers provide storage. The bathroom for this stateroom is across the corridor and doubles as the day-head. It features a full bath, marble countertop, and a stall shower.

Crew Accommodation

Located forward of the galley are two crew cabins. To starboard is the captain’s cabin which has a lower berth that can either be a single or double. Another berth is concealed behind paneling above and allows this cabin to also have two single berths if desired. A desk, hanging locker, drawers and storage nooks complete this room. To port is another cabin which features over/under berths, hanging locker, drawers, and shelves. Ensuite heads are off both cabins and feature sinks, toilets, and stall showers.
