La Joie de Mer is one of the newest breed of 29 meter Jongerts, designed by Tony Castro and built in 2005. She is known for her excellent build quality, modern comforts of a well-heeled yacht, and her exceptional sailing performance. Already regarded as a fine sailing vessel, in 2008 and 2011 her keel was optimized to strengthen her sailing prowess and be more competitive on the Corinthian racing circuit.
