The vessel has a Beta Marine 14hp marine diesel engine and two 12V batteries, with a braked, twin-axle road trailer. This trimaran has many innovative ideas, has been maintained to the highest standards and must be seen to be truly appreciated.

She has a grp/foam sandwich construction that has proved to be reliable, stiff, light, warm, quiet and very strong. The clever layout has four berths, separate heads compartment & L shaped galley. Her rig has a balanced main and jib boom system to make her a doddle to sail singlehanded. This boat bristles with many innovative ideas, has been lovingly maintained and thus must be viewed with her builder to be truly appreciated. Accommodation

The accommodation offers four berths (double forward and two singles aft) in approx 5'11 headroom.

The saloon has a settee to port and L shaped galley opposite to starboard. Hand pumped fresh water to galley sink with approx 15 gallons capacity (3 portable 5 gallon containers). 2 burner gas cooker with grill.

The aft quarter berths are accessed from either the cockpit or through from the saloon and run either side of the cockpit.

Aft is the separate heads compartment with a chemical toilet and basin.

Blue vinyl upholstery and grey carpet linings to hull throughout.

Spars & Sails

Bermudan sloop rig. Deck stepped silver anodised mast by Z Spars, 1985. Custom grp mainsail boom/jib pole system that rotates around the mast. Stainless steel standing rigging, 1985. Terylene running rigging, 2020. Enke halyard and control line winches. Slab reefing to mainsail with lazyjacks. Facnor headsail furling system.

Mechanical Systems

Located under cockpit. Year 2021, Beta Marine 14hp marine diesel engine. Twin cylinder. Sea water cooled. Shaft drive to folding 2 blade propeller. 5 gallons fuel capacity in plastic tank. Approx 100nm range at 4/6 knots speed. Only some 40 hours logged on the engine from new.

Two 12V batteries, 65ah each and both 2021. Charging via engine alternator and solar panel.

Construction

Built by her vendor and completed in 1984. White painted grp/Airex foam sandwich construction. Hull epoxied below water line. Painted non skid decks in grey. Lifting keel. Tiller steering to lifting rudder.

This boat has had significant evolutionary development of many systems over the years. There are numerous clever and ingenious solutions to everyday boating issues.

After 38 years of cruising the East Coast her owner is retiring from sailing due to advancing age.

Trailer

There is a braked, twin axle road trailer. The assembled boat can be demounted and the road package is within the legal width limit for towing on the road.
