On one of the last cold and damp days spent outside, we stepped aboard this beautiful Lowland Princess and spontaneously got a warm feeling inside. The classic and timeless lines, combined with a beautiful wooden superstructure & high gloss varnished interior are typical of authentic Dutch yacht builders. Behind this nostalgia is a variety of innovations implemented in recent years that make this classic a very useful and reliable ship. For example, in 2018/2019 a boiler was installed, the batteries and the 4 mattresses were renewed and a full winter sail was also made. In 2021 to 2023, the electrical system on board was renewed, the hull was sandblasted, both hull and superstructure were professionally painted and the hull was locally doubled + fitted with new skin penetrations & valves. This Lowland Princess is equipped with two Volvo Penta 6 cylinder diesel engines and was in earlier times equipped with hydraulic stabilizers. These stabilizers are out of order and now function as bilge keels, but much of the hydraulic system is still in place in the engine room. Finally, a new spray hood including bimini + ramp covers was installed in 2024 and the curtains were renewed. This ship is in winter storage during the winter period and a viewing is also possible here, we would like to make an appointment with you for a viewing.
