The project is partially completed and the boat is being sold as-is/where-is!! The MacGregor 65 Pilothouse is an amazing yacht with four cabins, two heads, and the ability to sleep 10. Entering the cabin from the large aft cockpit, the aft stateroom is behind the companionway and it contains a king size bed and a separate single berth with a walkway between them. Moving forward in the cabin the galley is on the port side with a sink, oven, and icebox. The navigation station is on the starboard side with a very wide, elevated bench seat where the crew can see out the pilothouse windows. The first head is behind the navigation station. Moving forward in the cabin the solon is centered in the boat with settees on either side and a large open space. A mid-cabin berth and a second head are forward of the salon and the large forward cabin with elevated V-berth is at the bow end. On deck, the aft cockpit has a large helm wheel and enough seating for all onboard. At the stern, a hatch provides entry for crew quarters and places for two more berths. The stern-molded steps provide access to the water for swimmers. The boat is set up for sloop rigging with a keel-stepped mast, roller furling head sail, and a forestay at the bow. The massive shrouds mount at the outside of the deck leaving room to walk next to the pilothouse. This boat comes with a mainsail only.
