That is because of her different layout, with the steering column not centrally in the rear but starboard forward, giving you a large spacious round seat at the stern. The bed is longer and therefore more spacious and there is no varnished wood outside (pot lid etc., making it a very low-maintenance sloop.) The color scheme makes it a very modern ship to see. the beautiful lines come into their own because of this.Recently (2023), the Caribbean 31 is equipped with a new engine; an extremely powerful and equally quiet Yanmar 4LV250. this economical engine has an output of 250 HP.The large round seat is surrounded by a beautiful black plastic pot lid, the anthracite upholstery colors beautifully with the whole. there are 2 refrigerators on board and a stove.In front is the spacious bed with good mattresses, on port side an electric toilet connected to a holding tank.Photos were taken by us recently and show the current status.
