Accommodation :Mahogany interior, Teak, and Cherry floor. Carpet. Beige upholstery
Forward cabin. Vee berth with infill to make double berth, Hanging locker, Full length shelves, Stowage under berths, Watertight bow collision compartment, reading lights, Mahogany door. Deck hatch.
Main saloon. Sofa berths port and starboard, Port berth is u-shaped and seats 6. Saloon table converts to large double by lowering saloon table. Bookshelves and cupboards each side, Storage under each berth. Heated throughout via a Mikuni diesel heating system. Aft of main saloon on port side L shaped galley with a Spinflo Nelson two burner with oven and grill gimbaled cooker and fridge. Double stainless sinks, hot/cold water. Hot water from shore power immersion heater and from engine. Stowage under and above worktops.
Nav table. Desk with chart storage inside, forward facing with upholstered seat and stowage under seat.
Aft cabin. Large berth with infill on port side aft of galley, shelves, and storage. Water tank under berth 220lts stainless steel. Door to main saloon. Marine toilet. Moulded sink. Stowage under sink unit. Companionway to cockpit made up of three easy steps. This hinges back to access front of engine bay and batteries.

History and Construction:The
Malo 34 built in 1988 by Malo Yachts based on the west coast of Sweden, designed by Olsöners Båtbyggen.
Solid GRP laminate below the waterline, with GRP balsa sandwich constructed hull with Kevlar reinforcement to deck and superstructure. Teak laid decks and coach-roof. Last out of water maintenance November 2020, the boat was copper coated 13 years ago.
Mechanical :Spars and Sails:
Rigged as a masthead sloop, anodised keel stepped mast and boom, stainless steel standing rigging (year unknown). In mast mainsail reefing, furling headsail.

Mechanical Systems:The
Malo 34 is powered by a new Beta 30 three-cylinder 30hp diesel engine professionally fitted in 2020 with approximately 10 hours use, shaft drive to a fixed three bladed propellor with rope cutter. Single lever morse control. 200 litre fuel capacity in a stainless-steel tank. Cutlass bearing changed 2020, last out of water maintenance November 2020, the boat was copper coated 13 years ago.
Electrical Systems:
3 x 12-volt 85Ah domestic batteries 2019, 1 x 12-volt engine battery. Charging from the engine alternator, shore power connection with 240-volt ring main, fitted with a 12-volt battery charger, immersion heater and galvanic isolator.
