Overview

A great starter boat….

This 2008 Mariah SX18 bowrider is an excellent starter boat package, complete with a UK road trailer, spray hood cover, and the economical and reliable MerCruiser 3.0L 135HP motor.

Performance

The SX18’s high gunwales, solid build, and assured hull (with 18 degree transom deadrise) ensure it handles choppy water well, making it reassuring for first-time boaters.

Design

With its ‘in-gel’ red hull stripes and sporty lines, the Mariah SX18 looks the part. The smart exterior is complemented by the color-coded interior and grey foam decking.

Condition

This 2008 example has only 115 hours on the clock. It has just undergone a major mechanical service in our workshop. It’s running great and is being sold with our in-house 3 month mechanical warranty to start at the beginning of the 2024 season, allowing you to buy with complete peace of mind.

There is some wear showing on the interior upholstery in places (but nothing serious), and all the important components are in great shape. The hull is near perfect (and has never been antifouled), the engine and drive are fully serviced and in excellent condition, and all onboard equipment and instruments are in perfect working order.

With upgraded foam flooring in the cockpit, bucket-style helm and passenger seats, and a full-width rear bench seat & sunpad, this boat has a high-end feel and ample space for a family of 5 or 6. It even boasts an extended Teak Swim Platform, installed July 2024 – images coming soon!
