'Presto' is the lift keel version of the MGC27 making her ideal for exploring the East Coast rivers and utilising shallow/drying moorings, with the lifting keel reducing the draft from5'10" to 3'2". Original Volvo Penta MD2001, single cylinder, 9hp diesel engine. Raw water cooled. Sail drive to two blade folding propeller. Serviced annually by the owner and rebuilt in 2009. Construction & Rig

Built in 1988 by MG Yachts in Glasgow to a design by Rob Humphreys. White GRP hull with style stripes. Alloy toe rail. White GRP superstructure with moulded non-slip decks. Lifting keel operated via a winch handle on the aft end of the saloon table. Lifting plate and mechanism inspected in April 2019. Minimum draft 3'2" with the keel up increases to 5'10" when the keel is lowered. Tiller steering to transom hung, lifting rudder. Tiller extension. Aft self-draining cockpit.Sails & SparsFractionally rigged sloop. Silver anodised aluminium single spreader deck stepped mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2022).
