The Moody S31 is a comfortable, fast cruising yacht that offers excellent accommodation within 31ft. It features a forward twin/double berth cabin, a light and bright saloon with two settee berths, and a spacious double berth aft cabin. This fin keeled Moody S31 includes a canopy to fully enclose the cockpit against the elements. The cockpit is equipped with tiller steering, and the transom seat moves for ease of access to the stern platform. A custom stainless steel arch at the stern supports two solar panels and an outboard davit. The yacht is powered by a Volvo Penta MD2020 19hp engine. The sale includes a Mariner 4hp outboard and an inflatable dinghy. A total of 145 Moody S31s were built between 1994 and 1998.

Accommodation

The forward cabin features V berths that can be converted to a double berth with the infill cushion. It includes under berth storage, hanging lockers, and an opening roof hatch. A door leads through to the saloon, which has port and starboard bench settees and a central drop leaf dining table with bottle storage. The saloon also includes an opening roof hatch, curtains throughout, and lee cloths at the settee berths. An aft-facing chart table is located to starboard, with a door leading to the heads compartment. The L-shaped galley is to port and aft, with a door leading to the aft cabin. The aft cabin features a double berth, a seat, a hanging locker, storage, under berth storage, a portlight, and an opening hatch to the cockpit, along with an engine access cover. The central companionway provides engine access below.
