Moody 41AC Classic£184,500
Currently in her second ownership, 'Dragonfly' was bought by her current owners in 2018 with a plan to enjoy an extensive exploration of Europe. She has been meticulously prepared to be capable of being 'off-grid' and independent of the crowds for weeks/months at a time. This work has been carried out with scrupulous attention to detail and the vessel is beautifully presented, culminating in a modern Moody 41 that far exceeds the specification of a new example for a fraction of the cost in achieving such an indulgently modern, stylish and welcoming yacht on which to receive family or friends - in whatever part of the world you choose.

Finished internally in high gloss Mahogany-style finish, her accommodation layout boasts three double cabins, with the single generous heads and shower compartment arrangement; high quality customisations to the saloon's table and locker arrangements, combining with indulgent but practical 'Etna' Italian leather upholstery, while all the sleeping berths have been provided with 'Bed Flex' supports beneath the mattresses.

'Dragonfly' is being sold with with her full inventory including a fresh inflatable dinghy, new and un-used furling 'Code 0' (2022), four battery bank of LiFE smart batteries plus an AGM cranking battery; up-to-date bi-facial 415W solar panel new in 2021, upgraded 'Spade' anchor, etc, etc, etc. The whole package is going as one.

**A desirable and scarce Sutton Harbour Marina berth licensecould be available for transfer withthis boat (At extra cost)**

Accommodation Arrangement

One boards through either of the midship guardwire gateways or through the drop-down transom gate and swim platform, walking forward between the twin steering wheels and smoothly around the hardwood, double-leafed cockpit table, to either side of which the cockpit seats are subtly sculpted to ensure generous & comfortable seating space. The cockpit seats together with the sole are sheathed in genuine Teak-style hardwood, with stylish bespoke cushions having been purchased for in-harbour comfort and an overall cockpit canopy serving as an efficient bimini protection from the sun when sailing, or to be completely enclosed using zip-on windowed side panels when in port.

Over a shallow threshold and down a comfortable companionway ladder brings you to the galley on starboard side, with the Heads compartment sensibly placed near the foot of that companionway to port for convenience at sea and best possible isolation from all the sleeping areas.

Saloon: The Saloon is finished in a modern 'New England' style, with the original table offset to starboard of the centre-line, surrounded on three sides by seating and a very generous 'Chart Table' and two single individual seats opposite, to port side. In point of fact, the current owners felt that the original dining table was unnecessarily big (making access to the surrounding seating difficult) and find dining for two using the 'chart table' far more natural. Consequently the original table has been replicated with a smaller table in a matching style that is pedestal-mounted on a gas 'sprung', telescopic leg to enable the 'dinette' to be converted into a double berth or, for relaxed (laid-out/reclined) watching of a bulkhead-mounted TV. The original table will be made available to a buyer for their storage/reinstatement as desired.

Galley Area: The galley takes on a straightforward, but generous L-shaped form, finished with Corian-style work surface as one might expect and with stowage abounding, and even an electric conductive hob sliding out from beneath the under deck lockers and above the conventional, gimballed gas cooker. The current owners report that over four week periods on board they are able to avoid using gas and even while not connected to the mains supply, are able to rely on the photo-voltaic panels to support all refrigeration and the cooking on this individual hob!

Sleeping Cabins: The forward cabin is probably the one that would be described as the  'Master' cabin; with a centreline double berth, generous floor space, matching lockers and dressing seats to either side. Light abounds, with a large overhead deck hatch and opening coachroof portlights to either side for light and ventilation.

That said; the starboard aft cabin offers a truly 'Kingsize' double, extending over the centreline abaft the engine compartment, good floor space and clothes hanging too.

The port aft cabin is only very marginally less generous in the size of the berth, but clearly this cabin is envisaged to be frequently used as the useful space for bulky stowage when not entertaining four guests at any one time.
