OWNERS COMMENTS
Sorcerer is a 35ft (10.09 metre) Workboat. The vessel was built in the 1970’s by Tyler Boat Co of Rochester in Kent using a hull design developed by GL Watson. She is powered by a Ford Sabre 212hp turbocharged six cylinder diesel engine driving a conventional propeller. These vessels were built mainly for sport fishing and general workboat duties.
From the February 2023 survey report "The vessel was subject to a full condition survey at the owners request on the 19th December 2021. The vessel was found to be in good structural and mechanical condition. A number of recommendation were made that had all been carried out prior to the inspection on 6th February 2023. She was recommended to the insurers to be a normal risk for insurance purposes. A heeling test was carried out on the vessel to the requirements as laid out in section 11.4.1 of the MGN 280 Guidance Note for Small Vessels in Commercial Use. This test indicated that the vessel was suitable for a total of 12 (twelve) persons expected to be comprised of 10 passengers and two crew. " Full survey is available.
