Very spacious and well-designed deep cabins affording generous headroom. She has three cabins. Aft cabin, a central wheelhouse/ shelter deck and fitted canopy, steering position. down forward into saloon with fitted seating to port around a dining table opposite is the galley area with the upholstery finished in red cloth, carpeted and curtains throughout. Heads compartment aft to starboard of forward companionway fitted with a baby Blakemarine toilet (a shower could be fitted if required). Cold water system (a gas water heater is fitted but is not plumbed in). 2 x Hanging lockers in Aft Cabin. In the forepeak there is a further cabin with a “V” berth there is infill cushioning to make up into a double berth. Galley is equipped with gas cooker oven and grill, sink with cold water supply, fridge/icebox, microwave oven, crockery and cutlery included.
The Claymore 30 is rigged as a masthead sloop with a aluminium mast and boom on a tabernacle (1976). Slab reefing mainsail with furling headsail.

The Claymore 30 is powered by a 1976 Perkins 4108 48hp four-cylinder diesel engine, shaft drive to a bronze 3-bladed propeller. Engine last serviced in 2014 by the owner.
