Elysia of Glasgow is a beautiful Mystic 60 yacht with her stunning lines. She has undergone many upgrades and replacements over the years, including teak decks, Rod rigging, and Awlgrip Blue paint (all 2014).
Elysia features a system of electric winches for sail handling, making her straightforward and rewarding to sail. She can be easily handled by a crew of two while maintaining minimal complexity to reduce maintenance downtime. She offers exceptional accommodation for her size.
Accommodation - 6 + 2 Berths in 3 double cabins and fore cabin (all en-suite).
Cabins - All cabins have zip covered mattresses, with lightweight duvets and pillows, and bed linen.
This includes fitted sheets, fleece blankets, top sheets, duvet covers, pillow-cases and protectors, mattress protectors, and hot water bottles. There are monogrammed blue Christy hand and bath towels, plus beach towels.
All cabins are en-suite to a head. Each cabin has deck-head lights, reading lights, and open shelf storage for books and other items.
The forepeak features two bunks forming a V shape, a large hanging locker with a full-length mirror on the starboard side, and a vanity unit with lockers on the port side. Under the vanity unit is space for a washing machine, including plumbing and power. Access to this cabin is via the port cabin and heads or through the large deck hatch.
The port and starboard cabins are mirror images of each other. Each cabin includes one wide fixed berth, an adjustable pullman berth above, a vanity unit with a fold-out table, and under-berth storage. There is a hanging locker and a full-length mirror in each cabin.
The master cabin features a full-size double bed, with a small sofa on either side. On the port side is a hanging locker and extensive drawer space. On the starboard side is a vanity unit with a mirror, storage, and a swing-out seat. There is a small TV with connections to a DVD player.
Heads - There are three heads on board. The forward port and starboard heads are mirror images of each other. The port head is a jack and jill with the cabin and forward cabin. Both have an electric toilet, wash-hand basin, shower, deck hatch, and port light. There is good storage space in lockers and a mirror.
The after-head is spacious, featuring a bath that doubles as a large shower, a large wash-hand basin with plenty of worktop, and an electric toilet. There is extensive storage in various lockers and drawers.
Galley - The galley is large and very well equipped. On the port side are the Gruinart fridge, freezer, and Force 10, 4 burner cooker with oven and microwave. There are generous lockers and open shelving for crockery and glasses.
On the centerline are two large sinks, drawer and locker storage space, electric fresh water with manual fresh and saltwater taps.
There is also a CD and radio, which plays in the saloon and cockpit.
Elysia includes some of the original Wedgwood china that the boat had when new. There is crockery and cutlery for 8 with plenty of spares. There are electric and hob kettles, a toaster, and an iron.
High-quality stainless steel saucepans and non-stick frying pans are included, along with many items for the keen cook, such as mixing bowls, hors d’oeuvre platters, a blender, kitchen knives, chopping boards, corkscrews, etc.
Saloon - The seats are upholstered in denim blue suede alcantara. All seating is fully covered with removable navy blue leather effect covers. There are covers in the same fabric for the dining table and coffee table. Both tables and the footstools have storage inside. Tasteful scatter cushions are included.
There is considerable glassware stowed in the saloon lockers, including crystal and polycarbonate glasses for every occasion, such as champagne flutes, whisky glasses, and martini glasses.
A TV connected to a DVD player, which also operates as a CD player and radio, is available. An extensive collection of DVDs and CDs will be left on board.
Under-seat storage is available for sails, first aid equipment, etc. The chart table is on the starboard side of the saloon, with under-seat storage, drawers, and lockers.
Workshop - There is a full headroom workshop with a workbench and vice. Extensive, labeled spare stowage is available below and outboard of the bench, including comprehensive electrical and manual tools. This space is plumbed for a water-maker and contains the Victron 3 outlet battery charger.
Deck cushions - A full set of cream-colored cockpit seat and back cushions is included, along with a full set of navy terry toweling covers. There is a set of three full-size after-deck sunbathing cushions that also double as a forward sofa when leaned against the granny bars forward of the mast.

Network Yacht Brokers is the oldest independent group of yacht brokers in the UK. They operate offices in prime waterside locations here, with an increasing number of partners in Europe too. As such, they are very proficient at supporting buyers through the purchasing journey particularly if an international component is involved. Each Network Yacht Broker office is independently owned, and so typically you will be dealing with a business owner in the course of your purchase of one of the boats below.
