Vessel powered by a well maintained Volvo Penta MD2003 inboard diesel. This 3 cylinder, fresh water cooled via a heat exchanger is situated beneath the companionway. Great access from the front and the side making servicing and daily checks very easy indeed. Reduction gearbox driving a stainless steel shaft with 3-bladed bronze propeller. Propeller shaft fitted with a rope cutter.
Engine start panel mounted in cockpit coaming. Single lever engine control mounted on binnacle. Fuel is stored in a 120 Litre stainless steel tank. The fuel is prefiltered before reaching the engine fuel filter. Engine is clean and was serviced in February 2023 ready for the season.
Bank of 3X12V batteries providing engine start and domestic power. All batteries were replaced in 2021 and are recharged via the engine alternator or the Victron Energy Centaur 30Amp charger. 12/240V panel at chart table with individually fused selector switches and gauges for tank levels and charging. Vessel is fitted with shore power and cable.

Bermudan sloop rigged yacht with deck stepped aluminium spars by Selden. Boom has been replaced by a "Sailtainer" in-boom furling system for the main sail. The sail still has battens and is controlled from the cockpit. Rigid rod kicker and topping lift keep the boom above head height. Mainsheet track at rear of cockpit with Lewmar self tailing winches within easy reach. Roller furling headsail system with roller reefing Genoa with UV strip. Mast mounted spinnaker pole with associated rigging and halyard winch at mast.
Sails include a roller furling Mainsail, roller furling Headsail and a rarely flown Spinnaker.
Stainless steel standing rigging (age unknown) and braid on braid running rigging which is in good and serviceable condition.
Below decks is beautifully appointed as you would expect from a boat of this pedigree. The woodwork is a combination of teak and mahogany cabinet work, teak faced marine ply bulkheads finished in both gloss and matt finishes.
Headroom is 6 foot plus so the taller members of our race will be comfortable. The interior is clean and tidy with recently cleaned carpets throughout and brand new upholstery in all cabins and saloon.
The main saloon is entered via the companionway. starting on the starboard side you will find the heads compartment with sea toilet, sink unit with hot and cold fresh water and pull out shower head. Shower pump out tray with teak grating. Hull mounted storage cupboards. Opening deck hatch for ventilation.
Forward of the heads is the chart table with storage below, chart storage and additional drawer storage built into the chart desk. Here you will also find the 12/240V switch panels , tank gauges and navigation aids.
Moving forward, and in the middle of the boat is the saloon seating/dining area with recently french polished drop leaved table and comfortable settee/berths port and starboard. The port settee is slightly larger and can accommodate 4 persons with ease. The back rests of the settes swing upwards which then gives the berths added width. Bedding and sleeping bags can be stored behind the backrests during the day. Excellent storage here to with drawer storage beneath the berths and hull mounted storage cupboards above.In the bow is the spacious forecabin with double V-berth, opening deck hatch for light and ventilation, hanging space and shelved cupboard storage.
Moving aft and on the port side aft of the port settee is the linear galley. White, easy clean preparation surfaces, double stainless steel sinks with pressurised hot and cold fresh water and lots of storage. The gimballed Neptune 4500 gas fuelled oven is brand NEW and has a 2-burner hob and grill. Top loading chest fridge with external temperature controls.
Moving aft from the galley is the rear cabin. This has a double berth to starboard and a single berth to port. Opening deck hatch for light and ventilation and vanity unit with inbuilt sink. Storage lockers below the berths and mounted on aft bulkhead.
12v lighting throughout and diesel fired hot air heating in all cabins.
GRP constructed yacht with shoal draft encapsulated fin keel and skeg mounted rudder. Hull has been copper coated to minimise weed growth and cut down on annual maintenance.
White high gloss topsides with burgundy coveline and boot top stripes. GRP rub rail with brass protective band.
Teak topped capping rails cover hull to deck join. Scuppers port and starboard aft of midships. Teak laid decks with recent deck plug replacement. cosmetic caulking required in certain areas. Deck mounted anchor windlass with anchor chain locker aft. This doubles as a gas locker. Nice wide side decks make moving round the decks easy and safe. Large cockpit with teak laid locker tops. Deep sail locker on starboard side. Full set of bespoke cockpit cushions. Removable cockpit table. Steering wheel is also removable and gives more room in cockpit when dining alfresco or laid up. Aft deck with halyard locker. Stainless steel dinghy davits at transom. These swing inboard when not in use. Stainless steel boarding ladder.
