Designed in a forward layout. This vessel offers a delightful authentic Boatman’s cabin aft with delightful skumbling veneer. It also has an Epping multi fuel stove and generous wardrobe/storage compartments with traditional canal art décor, a master’s cabin with an uber comfortable fixed double berth, an engine room housing an impressive JD3 Engine, a heads/bathroom with pump out lavatory, as well as an extendable Pullman's style dinette that can comfortably seat 4 - 6 people and will convert into a double berth. A U-shaped galley and a saloon with port and starboard recently reupholstered bench seating, providing an additional double berth when required.
Powered by a modern, highly reliable, yet vintage effect economical JD3 Tug Beta Marine 30hp diesel engine with a PRM 500D2 gearbox which makes a wonderful old fashioned noise. Central heating is provided by a Webasto diesel fired system and solid fuel stove located in the saloon and boatman’s cabin. Hot water is supplied by the engine calorifier and central heating. 240V & 12V electrics on board.

Centre stern doors leads into a well-lit, ventilated and spacious cabin. A super feature of this Narrowboat is the traditional style Boatman’s cabin, decorated with and traditional canal art and complete with an Epping multi fuel stove. This cabin offers plenty of storage for all essentials for life on the water.
Master Cabin
‘Orion’s Star’ boasts great accommodation (6 berths) and storage facilities. The master’s cabin is located aft and showcases port and starboard porthole windows letting in plenty of natural light, overhead cupboard with reading spotlights, generous under draw & bed storage. The aft of the berth features a large full height wardrobe, a pull down dressing table and forward is a large airing and storage cupboard.
Engine Room
The highly impressive JD3 Beta Marine diesel engine provides the propulsion. To the eye the engine looks vintage and traditional but the JD3 is a modern and efficient engine.

Head / Bathroom
The compact and well-designed bathroom/heads has a good sized shower enclosure, a hand basin is set in a good sized vanity unit with a stainless-steel mixer tap, a mirrored cabinet and eye level shelfing is found above, a pump-out toilet is alongside the hand basin.
Dinette
Positioned to port features an uber smart pullman’s style dinette with forward and aft seats. This dining table is extendable, expanding the width of the boat, which can comfortably seat six around the dining table. This can be converted to form an additional double berth when required. Storage is found below the dinette seats. A side hatch with glass viewing panes is found to starboard allowing natural light and fresh air into the cabin when dining. A great area to entertain your crew and guests.
Galley
The U-shaped Galley is found to port and features a surface mounted four burner gas hob, built in Spinflo grill and oven, two household size round stainless steel sink/drainer and a 12v Matsui fridge with icebox. The galley offers ample of worktop surfaces, plenty of cupboards as well as a dedicated pantry....all ideal for entertaining and cosy nights in
Saloon
This exquisitely upholstered and interior designed saloon has direct access onto the font Tug style deck with a custom made union jack bench seat....there is nowhere better to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner that on the front deck as well as to relax. The forward cabin consists of three-seater settees located to port and starboard which can be converted to form 2 single berths. Storage draws are found below the saloon seating.
Heating & Hot Water System
In addition to the Morso Squirrel multi fuel stove in the saloon, the Epping multi fuel stove in the boatman’s cabin, this cosy boat has a Webasto diesel fired central heating system is supplied on board running radiators throughout the boat; providing ample of heat on board, ideal for all year-round cruising. The calorifier is connected to the engine circuit providing heat for hot water when running.
Electrics
The 240V system on board simply plugs in to the shoreline providing power to the brass sockets throughout the boat. When cruising a Victron 1600W inverter ensures you are never without power. Three solar panels are mounted onto the cabin roof to facilitate trickle charging into the domestic bank of batteries. X1 leisure battery X4 domestic batteries.
