SKYTHIA was built in 2005 in Varna, one of the oldest shipyards on the Baltic shores of Bulgaria, as a replica of the legendary AMERICA.
SKYTHIA is a steel hulled, gaff-rigged schooner with teak decks and wooden masts. With some envious results on the Classic Racing circuit, SKYTHIA is also a successful charter yacht and performs superbly for corporate, team building, and, private cruising.

Built in 2005 in Varna -one of the oldest shipyards on the Baltic shores of Bulgaria- as a replica of the AMERICA, SYKYTHIA is a steel-hulled gaff-rigged schooner. With some envious results on the Classic Racing circuit, SKYTHIA is also a successful charter yacht and performs superbly for corporate, teambuilding, and private cruising. She features a steel hull, teak decks, and wooden masts.
SYKTHIA is a replica of the legendary sailing yacht "America". Legendary because in 1851 it shook the self-confidence of Great Britain's seafaring nation for a long time. Back then, Queen Victoria instituted a Hundred Guinea Cup (now the oldest running sporting competition in the World, The America's Cup) for the winner of a race around the Isle of Wight.
There was only one yacht from the New World that took part in this competition, the "America". She was ridiculed by the elite of British yachting for her bow shape. This ship was the first sighted by Queen Victoria on August 22, 1851, at 8:37 p.m. When she asked about a second yacht, the Queen got the legendary answer:
"Your Majesty, there is no second!"
EXTERIOR
The classic exterior is striking with two tall, wooden schooner rigs and an enormous bowsprit comprising almost one-third her length.
Beautifully varnished caping rails and skirting boards frame the solid teak decks. The two varnished coach roofs are crowned with brightly shining brass framed hatches.
SKYTHIA´s freshly painted black hull is trimmed with intricate gold-colored, bow carvings.
DECKS
Aft Deck: Comfortable and well-protected aft-cockpit with curved teak benches seating up to 8 people around a beautifully varnished cockpit table.
INTERIOR:
SKYTHIA accommodates 6-8 guests in 3 cabins, plus 4 crew members.
Owner: Full beam master cabin midships ahead of the saloon with two large beds outboard to port and starboard, and with separate ensuite and shower forward.
Guests: Private entrance to guest cabin from deck midships. Bunk beds port and starboard with separate ensuite and large shower cubicle.
Crew: Separate entrance from deck forward. Bunk beds to port and starboard with storage, hanging lockers, and washroom forward.
Main Salon/dining: A comfortable and homely saloon. Dining table for 6 on port side with a lounge area to starboard with sofas and coffee table.
Navigation and communications area in aft starboard saloon.
Galley: Well-equipped galley on the starboard side, aft of the main saloon fitted with 2 large fridges plus a wine fridge.
SKYTHIA's interior is made of rich wooden floorboards. Her off-white hull, bulkheads, and ceilings combined with wooden trim result in a clean, classic feel.
