FAMILY TRADITION II represented a brand-new model for Neptunus. She was designed by Gregory Marshall to include an on-deck master plus three guest cabins and a spacious crew area. Her interior joinery is a medium stained high gloss cherry with lots of stone accents and leather accents. Boarding FAMILY TRADITION II is easy via the hydraulic platform. Port or starboard teak steps lead up to the teak laid aft deck with both fixed and loose seating. A grill is to port and steps to the flybridge are to starboard.
Centerline are curved stainless steel doors to the spacious salon. The salon has port and starboard settees and flows forward into the same level open plan galley.
Either side of the galley and up two steps is the dining salon and pilothouse area with side deck doors both port and starboard.
Forward to starboard and down four steps is the “on deck” master suite with a king size berth and a large master head one step down.
Aft of the master and down five steps is a companionway with a guest cabin forward, a laundry center midships and two identical VIP cabins aft, all have ensuite.
The enclosed flybridge is spacious containing L-shaped raised seating, 2 helm chairs, centerline dashboard and various storage cabinets on starboard. Outside the enclosed bridge is shaded seating, a wet bar and a sun lounge area aft.
Aft through a watertight swim platform door is the crew cabin with twin bunks, a full head and shower, small galley and entrance to the large walk in engine room.
The salon is entered from the same level aft deck via a curved “Trend” centerline split entry door protected by full drapes. Immediately upon entering are twin leather topped cherry cabinets followed by twin three person upholstered settees with storage below. A cherry coffee table lies in front and can be positioned port or starboard. Again twin built-in leather topped end tables are forward with storage below. The port side contains the salon’s entertainment electronics consisting of a Samsung Blu-ray player, a Raymarine HD antenna control unit for the SAT TV and a Bose Lifestyle V 25 AM/FM/CD/DVD player with an iPod dock all behind cherry doors.
Centerline is a new curved quartz breakfast bar with a pop-up 46” Samsung LED TV. Two bar height chairs offer additional seating. To both port and starboard are large four panel windows with cherry and upholstered mullions with Duette blinds (2023) and LED rope lighting behind a cherry valance. Overhead is a boat shaped cherry and vinyl design with seven LED mini spots. Also in this area is a Bose 5 channel stereo speaker system with hidden subwoofer, seven additional LED mini spots, a central vacuum outlet, a CO detector and a main panel for the Cruiseair chilled water logic control as well as a digital thermostat. The sole is light planked hardwood, new in 2023, which continues forward to the galley.
The galley area is next forward and contiguous to the salon. A center island facing aft contains half the appliances and the other half facing aft from the forward bulkhead. Twin cherry columns with four cabinets overhead are aft.
The galley contains the following equipment:
The dining area of the FAMILY TRADITION II is forward and up two steps within the pilothouse. A unique six person ultra leather settee with a cherry table lies between the two bench seats. The forward bench has a movable backrest to allow it to be utilized as a helm seat as well. A bookshelf and four cherry cabinet doors are aft of the settee. Above is a five LED mini spot ceiling detail in the shape of the dining table. The sole of this area is also light planked hardwood. Between the galley and dining area are two vertical columns with acrylic doors with glass/bottle storage.
The pilothouse occupies the same area as the dining table and extends the full beam of the vessel. Port and starboard pantograph doors offer side deck access. A large, three panel windshield has only two mullions offering great visibility.
Equipment includes:
From the pilothouse on the starboard side is access to the four cabins.
