Down below she is clean and bright offering berths for 5 over the forepeak and saloon. Good sized galley with Flavel oven. Comprehensive navigation package including colour chartplotter, autopilot, wind speed/direction, speed and depth and a DSC VHF.

Mechanical

Vessel is powered by a reliable and economical Yanmar 2QM20 inboard diesel engine. The engine was removed and reconditioned in 2011 and there is no reason why it wont provide many years of good service to come.
Engine has been regularly maintained and most recent service included new pre filter and fine filters, adjustment to the tappets, replacement oils in both engine and gearbox, new block anodes, new thermostat and new water pump impeller. A new morse control lever was installed in 2021.

Reduction gearbox driving a stainless steel shaft with bronze 3-bladed propeller. The propeller is protected by the keel and transom mounted rudder. Rope cutter.

Bank of 2x12V batteries of 110amph each. These were replaced in 2020 and provide engine start and domestic power. Batteries are recharged via the engine alternator or the onboard smart charger. Shore power including cable.

Rigging

Keel stepped aluminium mast by Z-Spars. The mast was replaced in 2018 along with all associated standing and running rigging. At the same time the existing Profurl C320  roller furling system was installed along with a carbon fibre spinnaker pole and the associated rigging.
Sail wardrobe includes a Crusader mainsail with 3-reefing points and a Crusader roller furling headsail with UV strip. Both sails are in good order and were purchased in 2014.
In addition there is a No 1 jib and a storm sail. Both are not currently used as they are fitted with hanks. However there is an inner forestay attached to the mast which could be utilised by fitting a deck attachment.
Current set up for the mainsail is a sail cover. However there is also a stackpack with lazy jack lines available should that be preferred.
During the present ownership, the shroud u-bolts have been replaced including new stainless steel backing plates to replace the corroded aluminium ones.
Lewmar 40ST genoa sheet mounted within easy reach of helm. Additional Lewmar 14ST halyard winch mounted on port coaming for headsail furling line. This was installed in 2021.

  • New standing rigging 2018
  • New mast 2018
  • Reefing winch pad at mast replaced from 5mm to 15mm to eliminate riding turns
  • Wires rigged to mast steps above spreaders to prevent fouling of main halyard
