Accommodation

5 berths in 2 cabins with approx. 6' maximum headroom. Forepeak with vee berths and storage beneath. Separate heads compartment to port with Jabsco marine toilet (new 2016) and wash basin opposite with manually pumped cold water supply. Saloon with single settee berth to port that converts to  a double and single settee berth starboard, with storage beneath and behind both berths. Galley to port consisting of a gimballed SMEV fiddled gas cooker with oven, grill and two burners, built in Super Cool ice box, sink with manually pumped fresh and salt cold water supply, draining board and storage. Chart table to starboard. Upholstered in red with curtains and stained hardwood sole boards throughout.

Mechanical Systems

Located under companionway. Beta three cylinder, 20hp, sea water cooled diesel engine, new in 2009. Morse type single lever control with electric start. Shaft drive to fixed 2-bladed propeller via half-coupling. Stainless steel 17 gallon fuel tank. Engine fully serviced in Summer 2016 & has only run four hours since. 70 engine hours in total.
2 x 12 volt Batteries (one 110ah new 2015) charged via engine alternator. Full cabin lighting throughout. 240 volt ring main with four sockets.

Masthead rigged Bermudan sloop with keel stepped silver anodised aluminium mast and boom. Spinnaker pole. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2000). Terylene running rigging (2002). Slab reefing mainsail. Lazyjacks. Seafurl headsail furling system. 2 x Sheet winches. 2 x Mast mounted halyard winches. Boom reefing winch.

Construction

Built in 1970 by Halmatic Ltd to a Camper & Nicholsons design and originally moulded to Lloyds specifications. GRP hull with blue painted topsides and grey superstructure. Decks and cabin roof painted in blue anti-slip paint. Teak cap rail and cockpit coamings. Long keel with encapsulated lead ballast. Tiller steering to keel hung rudder. Self draining cockpit.

Comments

'Molly Reynolds' was restored to a high standard during her previous ownership including a professional osmosis treatment with extra woving applied in April 2003 and topsides resprayed to a high finish. She was re-engined in late 2009.
