2 Old 2 Fly, a 1993 Ocean 44 Motor Yacht, is notable for her innovative three-stateroom interior. Most motor yachts in this size range have two-stateroom floorplans with the galley down. The Ocean 44, however, boasts three staterooms—each with a double berth—in a very unusual configuration. While the fore and aft staterooms are fairly typical in layout, the starboard guest stateroom is very unique in that it extends beneath the main salon dinette.

2 Old 2 Fly, a 1993 Ocean 44 Motor Yacht, features an innovative three-stateroom interior. Unlike most motor yachts in this size range that have two-stateroom floorplans with the galley down, the Ocean 44 offers three staterooms—each with a double berth—in a unique configuration. The fore and aft staterooms are fairly typical, while the starboard guest stateroom extends beneath the main salon dinette, making it larger than it appears. The galley is located on the deckhouse level, and both heads are equipped with stall showers. The full-width aft deck includes a wet bar and wing doors, while the flybridge features the helm forward and lounge seating for six. Additional standard features include a radar arch, built-in washer/dryer, bow pulpit, and swim platform. She is powered by optional 485hp 6-71T diesel engines and built on a low-deadrise, modified-V hull.

Location and Condition

This yacht was berthed in Punta Gorda, Florida at a well-protected, insurance-recognized hurricane hole marina. She sustained cosmetic damage from Hurricane Ian in late 2022 but weathered the storm well in her slip. After the storm, she was transited from Punta Gorda to Saint Petersburg, Florida for repairs. Accommodations

2 Old 2 Fly has a three-stateroom arrangement with the aft Master cabin extending the full beam of the boat. It features ample drawer storage and a cedar-lined double door hanging locker. The aft stateroom includes a Raritan electric head with vanity and sink, along with a separate enclosed shower stall.

Stepping up, you enter the Main Salon, which has an L-shaped couch to port and a single chair to starboard. Forward on the same level is the dining area, accommodating four. To port of the dining area is the Galley. A few steps down on the starboard side is the guest stateroom with a double berth, hanging locker, and a Kariba combo washer/dryer.

Forward is the VIP Stateroom featuring a centerline queen berth with direct access to the Raritan electric head vanity with sink and separate shower stall. 2 Old 2 Fly comfortably sleeps six in her three-cabin layout.

Galley

The Galley is well-equipped with a Kenyon two-burner flat surface cooktop, Samsung convection/microwave, and Sub Zero refrigerator and separate Sub Zero freezer. Additional features include a Broan trash compactor, generous counter space, large sink, and cabinet storage.

Deck

The foredeck is spacious with an opening hatch for the VIP Stateroom, sturdy railing all around, and a windlass located just aft of the bow pulpit. The aft deck, featuring a brand new enclosure, has wicker furniture seating for four, a refrigerator, drawer storage, and a Vizio television in the cabinet above the sink and counter. Two wing doors provide access to the side decks leading forward to the foredeck.

Centerline aft is access to the new swim platform where the dinghy and davit are located, along with the swim ladder. A few steps up from the aft deck leads to the bridge with seating for six and a new enclosure for protection from the elements.

Electrical

The boat is serviced electrically with a 50 Amp/250V AC shore power source, featuring a power cord on an electric reel. There is also 12-volt service with an AC/DC electrical panel located starboard aft in the main salon. Additionally, a Kohler 8KW diesel generator provides AC power when away from the dock.

Three air conditioners with reverse air heat are onboard, along with generous lighting throughout all cabins and ample electrical outlets. The aft deck has a Vizio television, the main salon features a large Vizio flat-screen television, the aft cabin Master has a Samsung television, and the VIP stateroom has a Sharp television that is inoperable. The main salon, aft cabin Master, and aft deck televisions are connected to a KVH Satellite located on the hardtop, requiring a subscription for service. The main salon television has a Direct TV controller.

The new batteries are maintained with a Xantrex TrueCharge 40 Amp battery charger.

Additional features include a Reverso oil changing system and a fuel transfer system.
